O-ring is suitable for being installed on various mechanical equipment, and it can seal in static or moving state under specified temperature, pressure and different liquid and gas media. O-ring is mainly used for static sealing and reciprocating sealing. When used for rotary motion sealing, it is limited to low-speed rotary sealing device. O-ring seals are generally installed in grooves with rectangular cross-section on the outer circle or inner circle to play a sealing role. O-ring still plays a good role in sealing and damping in the environment of resisting oil, acid and alkali, grinding and chemical attack. Therefore, O-ring seal is the most widely used seal in hydraulic and pneumatic transmission system.
